The film also served to highlight the growing world of Italian women involved in civil, cultural and social activism, raising consciousness in a society — Italy — which currently ranks 71 out of 136 countries in the Gender Gap Report.  The initiative is under the auspices of the rete 13 febbraio pistoia network.
